
Steve Kilner, CEO, Principal
Kilnernet was originally formed as Kilner Media by Steve Kilner. The initial focus on internet marketing was expanded to include competitive intelligence services to aid in the crafting of internet-based marketing strategies. The focus was further extended to business model innovation to incorporate Steve’s strong background in the combination of IT, internet technologies and business management.
Prior to launching Kilnernet, Steve ran the largest IBM Business Partner consulting company in the Bay Area for 20 years and authored several software products ranging from e-commerce to software cognition tools.
Tony Trowbridge, CMO, Principal
With over 26 years experience as a marketing executive, Tony has successfully consulted with hundreds of Bay Area companies as well as owned and operated two of his own successful businesses. Originally trained in IBM’s Sales and Marketing programs for SMB’s, he not only has a wealth of knowledge and experience, he has also been heavily involved in the technologies that help improve efficiencies for such companies. These technologies include complete system wide implementations, system migrations and integrations, web-based applications, advanced internet strategies, and digital media technologies including signage, social media applications, content management, and broadcast media and management. Tony understands what it takes to run and operate a successful business, devise a sales strategy, tactically implement the right tools and technologies, determine the strengths and weaknesses of a company, minimize the risks, accelerate the positives, drive sales teams to determined goals and stated objectives, and most of all, he knows how to adapt and adjust in the various business climates and economic conditions we all face. Led by a strong passion to succeed and to help others find their path to success, Tony has consistently found ways to improve a client’s bottom-line and make the experience fun and enjoyable at the same time.
